What is DTDM?

Dare to Do More (DTDM) is a 5-stage challenge with an objective to the challenge is to address real business issues & spot the brightest minds and hear their plans to make a difference in the global food & beverage industry.

What are the stages of the process?

There are 5 stages where filtration happens. The registration, the online assessment, the region semi-finals, the region final, and the sector final. You will go to next stage/round only if you clear the previous stage/round

Who is eligible to participate in the challenge?

Dare to Do More (DTDM) is open to individuals with the age of 18 years to 32 years (as on 1st September 2019) from India, Egypt, Thailand & KSA with undergraduate and/or post graduate backgrounds, and in some instances, working professionals with up to 2 years’ experience from select campuses. Please refer to the Terms & Conditions for list of colleges & other detailed criteria.

How can I register?

You can register through our chatbot Olivia. She will ask you some questions and basis eligibility as mentioned in our terms & conditions, we will be assiting you with the registration process. Each person has to register individually and they can give the email address of their partner, if they want to form a team of two people. In case, their partner is not eligible, the team will be disqualified as a whole. Please read the eligibility criteria carefully before applying.

Is it a team/ individual challenge

The competition is both a individual & team competition but contestants register as individuals. During registration, your team preferences would be checked & you will be asked to give the email address of your partner. If he/she is eligible, you will be paired up or else, you will be disqualified as a team.

How many members per team?

A team can have one or two members but both members should be eligible to participate as per the criteria in terms & conditions documents.

What is the criteria to move to the BIG IDEA Stage?

In a team of two members, both members should individually qualify the Assessment stage. Only top 100 teams with the highest average score will move to the Big Idea stage.

How will I receive information about qualifying the stages of the challenge?

You will receive emails on your registered email ID through Olivia. What is the submission requirement for the Big Idea stage?

The Big Idea should be 2-3 slides detailing your startegy, main idea, investment needed, execution plan & return on investment expected from the idea. This can be submitted in a PDF format on the link shared via email by Olivia.

What is the submission requirement for the Country & Sector Finals stage?

The Country & Sector finals will be reviewed through presentation of upto 10 slides in PDF format for you to provide more details on your idea. Please refer to the challenges page of the website for the questions you need to answer for these stages.

What are the awards?

All the eligible participants go through assesments and receive a report of their leadership profile.Top 10 finalists get Chance to present to Senior Leadership at the Country Headquarters & a day of experiential learning with Nation’s finest teams. Country Winners get an opportunity to join the PepsiCo team, Ivy League Certified Courses, Mentorship from PepsiCo Senior Leaders and a trip to Dubai to present their ideas to our Sector Leadership Team. Sector Winners get an opportunity of an international stint at Dubai, an immersive experience of New York City with winners from all over the world and a day with the Global Leadership Team.

What is the duration of the Dare to Do More Challenge?

DTDM will kick off on the 23rd September 2019 and will end in Jan 2020. For more details of rounds, please consult the website.

WHAT ARE THE DOCUMENTS THAT I WILL SUBMIT AS PART OF MY PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST?

You will not be required to submit any document at the time of registration. Before the Country Interview Round, the shortlisted team members will be required to submit the documents as specified in the contest terms and conditions for verification of their eligibility to participate in the contest. Please refer to the terms and conditions for more details.

I RESIDE IN A COUNTRY NOT LISTED UNDER THE 'T&C's', CAN I STILL APPLY?

Only those who are residents of Thailand are eligible to participate in the contest.If you are a national of India, Egypt, KSA & Thailand but reside in another location you are still welcome to apply.

I AM A NATIONAL OF A COUNTRY NOT LISTED UNDER THE 'T&C's', BUT I RESIDE IN ONE OF THE OUTLINED ELIGIBLE COUNTRIES. CAN I STILL APPLY?

If you are a national of India, Egypt, KSA & Thailand but reside in another location you are still welcome to apply.

I AM NOT CURRENTLY A STUDENT; CAN I STILL APPLY?

If you are: Between the ages of 18 (eighteen) and 32 (thirty-two) years as on 1st September, 2019,& in some instances, having up to 2 years of work experience. Only students studying in colleges as per Terms & Conditions document can participate. Please refer to the contest terms and conditions for more details.

CAN I REGISTER AS A SINGLE ENTRANT?

Yes, you can.

IF I CAN'T MAKE THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE, DO I HAVE FLEXIBILITY TO APPLY AFTERWARDS?

No, you must submit your registration before the closing date of October 10th, 2019. Registrations submitted after this date will not be considered.

IS THERE ANY SUPPORT TO FILL UP REGISTRATION FORM?

Olivia our Chabot will help you fill up registration form and answer any questions you might have.

WHAT IS ONLINE ASSESSMENT?

After registrations close on October 10th, successful applicants will be sent a link for complete an online assessment. This will test your cognitive abilities, critical thinking, problem solving skills, and English language proficiency.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I MISS THE SUBMISSION DEADLINES FOR THE VARIOUS STAGES OF THIS CONTEST? CAN I SUBMIT DOCUMENTS OR REQUIRED INFORMATION AT A LATER STAGE?

No, the deadline dates at each stage are clearly communicated on the stages section of this website and through all related communications. Any registrations, videos, business case presentations or other required documentation submitted after the outlined deadlines will automatically be considered invalid.

WHAT HAPPENS IF ANY OF THE TEAM MEMBERS IS NOT ABLE TO TRAVEL ON THE FIXED DATE? WILL THEY BE ALLOWED TO RESCHEDULE THEIR DATE OF TRAVEL?

If any shortlisted Team member is not able to travel on the date specified by the Organizers, such Team will be disqualified and the next best team will be selected. Please refer to the contest terms and conditions for more details.
